The websites listed below are helpful in a number of domains, thus I did not want to put them under just one subject area. In addition to the websites shown here, please check out some wonderful sites listed in the Genius Hour & Passion Projects Internet Resources section of my website.

Capzles - This website allows students to create descriptive timelines (using photos, video, audio, and text) to demonstrate their understanding. They can personalize their timeline using colours, backgrounds, and music.
CoSketch - This website is a whiteboard for multiple users that allows students to quickly visualize and share their ideas with images.
CueCard - This (free) program makes up flashcards for you, based on what you need to memorize, and then quizzes you on them.
Digging for Answers - This website provides game quizzes that test background knowledge, while allowing for the aquisition of new knowledge.

FreeRice - This is a website that asks you questions from a variety of subject areas. As questions are answered correctly, grains of rice are earned. This rice is then donated to help end world hunger.
Glogster - This website enables students to show their understanding by using a variety of mediums (sound, video...) to create their own interactive poster.

Kahoot! - This is a great website to make quizzes to prepare yourself for tests. Students can make it for themselves, parents can make it for their child, or students can make it for one another.
Learning Styles - This website asks you a number of questions to determine your learning style and then gives you helpful hints to help you be successful in your style.
Pacecar - This is a reading tool that helps to reduce the distraction, and thus increase reading rate, when reading on the Internet.
Prezi - This website gives students a fun and creative way to present their learning.
Quizlet - This website provides a fast and fun way of memorizing vocabulary.
Scratch - This website allows students to create their own interactive stories, games, music, and art.
Search Cube - This is a search engine that creates a visual representation of your search.
