...Of The Day
I have included five "...of the Day" areas for students to use to enrich their learning. Each day the information and activities will change - so feel free to visit these sections every day! Just click on the links to take on new challenges and to take your learning to the next step!
The "Education Activities of the Day" section provides students with a number different activities that they can try out to challenge themselves and enhance their learning. Be sure to scroll down so that you can see all the ideas they have given you. Click on any that interest you to get more information and to be able to download the activity.
The "Quote of the Day" provides students with a meaningful quote. These can be great to use as a topic of discussion between students and their parents.
The "Riddle of the Day" certainly tests your skills and gets your brain going as you attempt to solve a riddle. Again, this can be a great activity for parents and students to do together.
The "Wonder of the Day" is very interesting as it explores all kinds of wonders. It poses a question in regards to a wonder and then answers the question for you. Clicking on the question takes you to a detailed answer for that particular wonder. Better yet, after reading the answer, you can take the "Wonder Word Challenge" to check your understanding of the vocabulary. You also have the option of testing your knowledge by taking a short quiz - simply click the "Did You Get It?" box. So, not only does this "...of the Day" expand your knowledge, it also works on your reading, comprehension, and vocabulary as well!
The "Word of the Day" gives you a new vocabulary word, and its definition, to add into your repertoire. Studying these new words is a great way of working to expand your vocabulary!
